Planetary

This in-progress series of mixed media abstract paintings and accompanying supplemental material is a meditation on the natural world and its many complex ecologies. It is also a call to look more closely at ourselves–as individuals and as a collective– and in doing so, to understand that we are a part of nature, and nature is a part of us. The more we see this, the more we begin to appreciate our common ground.

Each painting is pared with a poem, exploring a thing, a phenomena, or a process in nature.
