This ongoing series is a lengthy experiment  in dialectics, wherein I explore the boundary between the familiar and unfamiliar, the natural and the artificial, the physical and the digital, the minuscule and the gargantuan. Pieces are created using a combination of natural and not-so-natural materials, and during the creation process, the images are manipulated both physically and digitally. I invite the viewer to think about the ways in which dialectical thinking can inform what it means to engage with nature in the midst of the Anthropocene.
